Each day more energy falls to the Earth from the sun's rays than the total amount of energy the planet's 5.9 billion inhabitants would consume in 27 years.
Only in the last few decades-when growing energy demands, increasing environmental problems and declining fossil fuel resources made us look to alternative energy options-have we focused our attention on truly exploiting this tremendous resource. The requirement for energy in space for powering satellite systems provided a big impetus to advance the technology, more of which is discussed below.

The purposes of the project are:

  • to present for Ukrainian and world publics both substantial achievements and possibilities of the Ukrainian experts and technologies;
  • to popularize of achievements of other countries in the field of usage of alternate energy sources;
  • to show the ways how were achieved these purposes, how advanced countries went and how they solved the problem of increasing an invironmental self-consciousness of the population;
  • to show, that the implentation of alternate energy sources fortifies democracy;
  • to attract attention of the Ukrainian and regional public to problems of usage of alternate energy sources;
  • to show necessity of investment in the future of Ukraine;
  • to show real paths of solution of a problem of implantation of technologies of obtaining of different sorts of energy from energy of the sun.
